Rein found herself at the Carson shelter after her owner passed away and was placed on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding. Thanks to generous sponsors, we were able to rescue Rein and place her in a loving foster home in California. Sadly, it was discovered that she had advanced cancer, too far progressed for any successful treatment. Despite this, Rein spent her final days as a hospice foster with her incredible foster mom, Beth, and her canine companion. While Rein's time with us was short, it was filled with a lifetime of love, comfort, and care.
